What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

In order to provide a comprehensive quote, we would need the date and time and also the venue. We would ideally like to know their budget so we can work with them to ensure they can get what they need for their event or provide them with alternatives should these come outside of their budget.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

A customer would need to know about previous events they have catered for and the supplier should be able to provide them with photographic evidence of this. Check reviews from previous customers to get an idea of the service being offered.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

We started out approx 6 years ago when I was getting married myself. My husband is a joiner and so he built me my own candy cart and wishing well. A lot of people commented on them and asked if they could hire them from us and that is how we started. We loved helping people to add that extra little touch to their big day. From there we made lots of other items to hire out ad started to build up our stock of centrepieces and venue dressing items.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I am very new to Add to Event and only signed up 2 weeks ago. Therefore I have not carried out any events I have had through this platform. However, I already have my first job booked in for this week and my second one will be next week. I also have a couple of jobs booked in for later this year. I would definitely recommend this platform to other supplies.
