What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To provide a quote we need to know the event date to check our availability. We also need to know the type of event & a brief statement of type of services required. Also it is helpful to know the times of the event, estimated number of guests, if the event is indoors or outdoors, if the event is on the ground floor and if not if there is lift access and if possible the venue.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask the provider if they are able to provide the services you are expecting. In the case of Bands and DJs for example, if you are wanting a particular genre or era of music make sure they are comfortable with this. Ensure the provider knows what your expectations are. More detail is better than less.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

The company was formed in a Country Inn in Yorkshire and used its Function Room to provide a selection of entertainment for its guests. Since moving to East Anglia in 2012, we have built a reputation for providing first class service and entertainment. DJ Hagid has many years of experience and has worked previously with some of the regions top mobile DJs before moving to Yorkshire when with his wife they formed their own mobile disco.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Our first ever booking from Add to Event was in July 2018 and was a fabulous function. The event was a celebration party following a wedding vow renewal. Although the weather was hot, we kept the dance floor moving and had guests dancing outside of the hall. We are presently waiting for the review to come through but the couple could not thank us enough at the end of the night and we are pretty sure there will be some repeat bookings from family events.
