Based in London, Wonderland Events is a DJ, music and sound specialist service that provides award-winning DJ's for private, corporate and bespoke events. They also hire out state-of-the-art music equipment.

What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

In order for us to provide a comprehensive quote, ideally we would need the date, venue, type of event and timings. Once we have this information we are able to put together a suitable quote.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Firstly, do some research, read reviews and ask questions before accepting a quote. Most DJ's are multi genre, however there are some that do specialise in certain genres. Also look at pictures of their set up and equipment and question whether it can be customised to suit your needs.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I began DJing over 15 years ago and have played in many clubs/festivals all over the UK and internationally. During that time I also got a lot of requests for private functions. I decided to start Wonderland Events to be able to give the client a more intimate, customised experience in which they were able to add their input.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We have just joined Add to Event and have not completed any bookings as of yet however we do have several bookings coming up over the next few months in which we will be back to share our experiences.
I would recommend Add to Event to others, as I receive quite a few requests per a day which are customised to my preferences, I am able to obtain enough information from the client in their original request to provide a suitable quote.
